Platform

One pipeline. Three feed types.
Real-time clarity.

RouteLyft ingests telematics GPS signals, EU customs API events, and carrier ETA data — normalises all three into a single event schema, and surfaces the unified timeline to your logistics coordinators.

Data Sources

Three feed types. One event timeline.

Most visibility tools track one thing well. RouteLyft merges all three feed types because EU cross-border delays usually involve all three at once.

Telematics Feeds

GPS position signals sourced from fleet management system (FMS) hardware via CAN bus integration, normalised across 15+ hardware profiles from major European fleet telematics vendors.

  • FMS-compliant CAN bus data from 15+ hardware types
  • Position reports mapped to a unified GeoJSON event schema
  • GPS drift filtering and satellite lock-loss gap detection
  • Automated dwell-time measurement at border facilities and customs depots

Customs & Border Events

T1/T2 transit document status, inspection holds, and release confirmations pulled directly from EU customs APIs — the data layer most visibility tools simply skip.

  • NCTS Phase 5 MRN status and release confirmations
  • T1 transit and AES export declaration events
  • Customs inspection hold and controlled release signals
  • Cross-border dwell time measurement per crossing and per MRN

Carrier ETA Signals

Scheduled and live ETAs from 30+ carrier APIs, gateway-normalised from REST, EDI (IFTSTA/IFTMIN), and legacy FTP sources — so every carrier speaks the same event language.

  • 30+ carrier connections: REST, EDIFACT IFTSTA, webhook, and FTP
  • Scheduled ETA vs live ETA delta tracked per shipment leg
  • Carrier-specific update lag calibration to suppress false alerts
  • Multi-leg ETA stitching for road + short-sea intermodal routes

The Unified Timeline

Every event in one view, ordered and colour-coded

The shipment timeline is filterable by lane, carrier, and delay status. Exceptions surface automatically — no manual hunting.

Exception Alerting

Exceptions surface themselves

RouteLyft is exception-first — you don't check status, status finds you. Configure thresholds per shipment lane or carrier.

Threshold Alerts

Set delay thresholds per lane, carrier, or shipment type — alert if the ETA slips more than your configured window (e.g. 2 hours on a JIT corridor). Dispatched via email or outbound webhook to your TMS the moment the threshold is crossed.

Customs Hold Notifications

When a T1 transit document enters a controlled hold or an NCTS Phase 5 MRN shows an inspection status, RouteLyft flags the shipment and notifies the responsible coordinator — without waiting for the carrier to update their portal.

ETA Deviation Warnings

Carrier ETA messages (IFTSTA status updates) are monitored continuously against the scheduled ETA. When actual-minus-scheduled exceeds your threshold, the shipment surfaces immediately — including MAPE-aware suppression to avoid false alerts from carriers with known late-update patterns.

Data stays in Europe. GDPR by design.

All shipment data is processed and stored in EU-based infrastructure. No data leaves the EU/EEA. GDPR-compliant access controls and audit logging included on all tiers. Learn more about security →
